Charities Like working with Cambridge Networks

Charities like working with Cambridge Networks 01.02.2009

Cambridge Networks would like to let all current clients know about our contiunued initiative for 2009.  Whilst reviewing our client base we noted that several clients were either seeking charitable status or were indeed a charity.  With this in mind Cambridge Networks have decided to create a new area of the business where we will attempt to help where possible charities in and around the Cambridgeshire area.  Our main commitment will be with our support rates for charities we will offer our discounted rates direct to them even if they do not take out a support contract with us.  Current Charities include Cambridgeshire Mencap and Arthur Rank Hospice

'If we can help in some way shape or form, then that must be a good thing' Kirsty Sewell Director at Cambridge Networks said.

If you are a charity or are seeking charity status and looking for IT Services, please contact either Kirsty in our office to talk further about your requirements.

Cambridge Networks also are asked to remove machines from client’s sites for disposal, where possible we look to recycle these machines back into the community.  We would however like to stress to current clients that all machines are recycled without the hard drives.  These are disposed by internal procedures where the disks are stripped and destroyed.  Data security in today’s ever dangerous environment is at the top of Cambridge Networks agenda.

Clients get more proactive support from Cambridge Networks

23.01.2009

Cambridge Networks continue to invest both time, resource and reinvest their profits into the support of the cleints systems.  Already one of the countries leading users of Kaseya, Cambridge Networks have now sucessfully created additonal monitoring and reporting tools for their toolset to fight against IT issues.

  • PC Remote Control/Remote Support
  • Patch Management
  • Kaseya Computer Audit and Discovery
  • Remote Desktop Management
  • LAN, WAN and Windows Monitoring
  • Help Desk and Trouble Ticketing
  • Software Deployment & Systems Management
  • Network Policy Management
  • Backup and Disaster Recovery
  • Anti-Virus/Anti-Spyware Detection

This corporate support solution has been made available to the SME business primarily due to the investment Cambridge Networks have been willing to make.  There are two main reasons for this investment, first being the added level of support this will give to our clients and the most important one being the amount of time this will free up allowing Cambridge Networks to work ‘Smarter rather than Harder’.

Greg Sewell, Technical Director at Cambridge Networks has worked in the IT industry at all levels from SME through to Corporate where he was involved with a 4000 user environment working alongside two of the largest outsourcing facilitators in the UK, so has seen where the pitfalls can be and what needs to be done to both get the job done and well as keep the client happy and informed.

'SME businesses should not be penalised because they cannot afford the systems offered by the corporate support solutions.  More importantly they should not be expected to pay corporate rates for this level of service'.

Cambridge Networks have committed to a four year investment plan that will give their current and new clients the access to the new support offerings alongside the current support packages offered.  CAP & CAP Plus will stay the same and will continue to offer the proactive and reactive support services, however they will additionally offer the Kaseya solution within these packages.

This investment in aimed at improving how Cambridge Networks manage their client’s expectations and how their computing environment performs.  We have decided to review our pricing structure and support offering early June 2008 where we will be able to gauge how the new solution is working alongside our current offering.
