Extreme wardrobe surfing is dangerous
12.01.2008
Can you beleive that a bedroom wardrobe is a killer in disguise, well I didnt think so, however a phone call on Saturday evening proved me wrong.
Tim Hodkin one of our onsite technicians called and left a message, giving us a heads up for work for the coming week. On Friday Tim was moving a wardrobe into his flat when a strong gust of wind knocked the unit out of his and his fathers hands and managed to fall onto his hand and in the process broke his thumb in 2 palces.......Ouch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Needless to say Tim will be dealing with support calls from the office for the next 4 weeks whilst his thumb mends.
Based on Tim's real passion of guild leader within the World of Warcraft arena we think that really he was moving his pots of gold and was ambushed by orks and dragons and in the following battle a stray axe broke his thumb (Big Grin).
Get well soon Tim from all of us at Cambridge Networks.

01.03.2008
Can you soft sell to clients? Its a simple question, however not many companies do it well at all. At Cambridge Networks it is not about the hard sell, in fact we do not try to sell to our clients, rather we advise and recommend our trusted products and services instead.

You will have some knowledge of IT in some way and be open to learning new skills and technologies to assist you with advising our clients over the telephone.
We are looking for that special someone who can take an idea and turn it into reality from creating the initial script through to the telesales pitch and past the follow up email or telephone conversation. For this special someone we are creating a fantastic package that will allow both Cambridge Networks, the team and you to grow over the coming years.

Charities like working with Cambridge Networks
12.01.2008
Cambridge Networks would like to let
all current clients know about a new initiative for 2008. Whilst
reviewing our client base we noted that several clients were either seeking charitable
status or were a charity. With this in mind Cambridge Networks have decided
to create a new area of the business where we will attempt to help where
possible charities in and around the Cambridgeshire area. Our main
commitment will be with our support rates for charities we will offer our
discounted rates direct to them even if they do not take out a support contract
with us.
'If we can help in some way shape or
form, then that must be a good thing' Kirsty Sewell Director at Cambridge
Networks said.
If you are a charity or are seeking
charity status and looking for IT Services, please contact either Kirsty or Cat
in our office to talk further about your requirements.
Cambridge Networks also are asked to
remove machines from client’s sites for disposal, where possible we look to
recycle these machines back into the community. We would however like to
stress to current clients that all machines are recycled without the hard drives.
These are disposed by internal procedures where the disks are stripped and
destroyed. Data security in today’s ever dangerous environment is at the
top of Cambridge Networks agenda.
