What we can say is that our new member will bring several years of experience of the majority of Microsoft systems with him and this will help all concerned in the IT department. More to come on our new member in the next 2 weeks.
Training for Kaseya starts this week
Training for our new MSP system starts on Monday with all of the technical department starting early to get a handle on the new system and to see what it can offer to both the technicians as well as our clients. We have created the special partnership with Kaseya as we see that offering our clients the right level of service is paramount to the survival of any IT support business in todays healthy business market. We will be releasing more information about what is happening with training and deployment of the new system as and when possible.
Documentation of systems ploughs ahead
With our latest addition to our business being Catherine (Cat to her friends) we have been able to focus our efforts on improving our documentation of client information. One of Cat's current duties is trawling through all client information held on paper and adding to our extensive range of electronic documentation. This will assist both our clients as well as team both internally as well as externally whilst onsite. this information will also be available via our new knowledgebase soon to be released from our Web development department. Watch our for some more exciting news on this subject very soon.
New Microsoft Certification on the Horizon
New for 2008 Cambridge Networks and their team of technicians are all focusing not only on the new MSP system being implemented, also they are all currently studying hard on updating our Microsoft status to the next level. All technicians are focusing on improving their theoretical knowledge for passing the exams and in turn turn these exams into additonal points towards the next level of certication for Cambridge Networks. Wish our technicans all well on their studying over the coming months. Good luck guys and study well.
New Mouse Mats have arrived
With a new year ahead, we have noted that the current 0870 number will no longer be used, we have invested in new mouse mats with our new 0845 number installed onto it. We will endeavour to furnish all of our clients with a new mouse mat, however if we have not been to see you please let us know and we will post your mats to you. A new addition to the mat is the useful tips section on the Cambridge Networks website. Here we are looking to place useful information that may benefit clients throughout their working day.

30th November 2007
What a fantastic month November has been. Several sucess stories to talk about;
A new team member joined us in November , Catherine Barnett, (CAT), joins the admin team to assist Kirsty with the day to day administration duties. Cat will be focusing on helpdesk call logging as well as administration duties within the office. Already Cat's efforts can be seen by all. When you next call in , say hi to Cat.
Several new support clients have come onboard to both Cap lite, Cap and Cap Plus. We are constantly adjusting our support packages so that we can offer our clients the best level of support both reactively as well as proactively.
New disaster recovery solution also being tested; We are now starting to test and demonstrate our new disaster recovery solution for our SME clients. This new service will allow us to take a snapshot image of your servers and recover to another different peice of hardware. What this means to clients is that by taking this snapshot in time, as well as a recent backup tape , we can rebuild your server environment within a matter of hours (some cases it will be minutes). by holding an online copy of your server we can have your server prepped and ready to be deployed with little downtime experience. we will be contacting all of our support clients to let you know about this new service in the new year and to make a fantastic offer for your business.
More exciting news to come in early December as our next team member joins us to head up our support department.
